Folks tend to come to counseling looking for peace. The process of finding peace through changing or accepting various aspects of one’s life is a deeply personal and unique process. Many times, things may get worse before they get better. The process of working through these things can be difficult and intimidating, and it is my job to support and guide you to what you are trying to accomplish.
I have seen clients for approximately 2 years. I primarily use a feminist based counseling approach, seeking to provide equitable services to those who are marginalized and help empower them. Some of the concerns I have worked with the most include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and adjusting to changing life circumstances.
